Two more SALJGA competitions were played on Sunday 15 June.

The Challenge Tour contested the McGregor Trophy over the Jubilee in ideal conditions though the course proved to be a stern test.  Matt Bones was victorious and his winning net score of 70 was the only one to beat the CSS.  The competition was a family affair with Matt’s elder brother Dan returning the lowest gross.

The M2 Kirkcaldy Trophy was played as a stableford event and the Kirkcaldy name proved a major attraction which resulted in our largest entry this season with 20 participants.  Ross Woods won the boys' event with an extremely impressive 55 points, this outstanding performance will see Ross advancing to the M1 category for future competitions.  Lauren Goadby pipped her sister into second place to claim the prize in the girl’s event.
