Euan Graham wins rescheduled McArthur Salver19/08/2008

Euan Graham won the the Mini-Tour 1 McArthur Salver which was played over the Strathtyrum yesterday.

The match had been postponed from its original date due to heavy showers. The rescheduled tournament started in fair weather but the rain returned with a vengeance half way through the round, testing the patience and rain gear of all the competitors. 

Euan Graham kept his form throughout the 18 holes to record his second win of the season with an excellent nett score of 57.  He has now cemented his position within the Mini-Tour 1 having won previously in the Mini-Tour 2 category. 

There were also fine rounds by Sam Raeside and Lauren Whyte with joint lowest gross scores of 78 in this combined boys and girls competition.
