The girls formed into teams of three or four with the Hot Chocolate Chicks comprising Kirsty Graham, Elie MacCallum, Emma Graham and Margot MacLean, leading the charge. Next up were the Birdies made up of Mary McDougall, Olivia Gibson, Darya Vinogradov-Wouters and Mikayla Head. Following the Birdies were the Coco Popz of Amy Boxer, Nadya Nicoll and Catriona Fraser and the final two teams were Stroke of Genius and the Mad Hatters who brought up the rear. Stroke of Genius were Rebecca Todd, Carly Percy, Amy Reid and Sophie Davies and the Mad Hatters were Sophie Maguire, Vanessa Stewart and Jemma Brown.
‘The weather was good and the golf was often of a high standard with all the teams posting creditable gross scores which ranged from 32 to 39 for the 9 holes,’ said Nick Randerson Everybody enjoyed the friendly and social atmosphere on the course and thoroughly deserved the hot chocolate and cream which was served in the junior room after the competition. My thanks go to all the girls who took part in what is obviously a popular format. An equivalent competition is scheduled for Sunday 27th June which I hope will be similarly supported.
